Book 2 of 3?

Have you ever read and really enjoyed a book only to find out later that its book 2 of 3 in a series? That happened to me this weekend. I happened to get an used book and a new book from the same author. (purely accidental) Halfway through the 2nd book I came to the startling conclusion that not only are they both books in a series,(different series) But they are also books 2 and 3 in their respective series. So, now I'll have to make a trip out to the book store to catch myself up with the rest of the stories.

For a Monday, today wasn't too bad. I got a big project that I had been working on for months done. Plus, it's a slow week due to "spring break." I got a coupon for 20 % off at one of the local stores. So, I was able to get a few items that I've been really wanted for a decent price. (plus a stop at the book store to get the previously mentioned books I was missing in the series.) The pink eye is finally gone and I currently feel pretty good. No lingering headaches or no unexplained outbreaks of hives to complicate day to day life.

This week I'm hoping to go see the exhibit at the local museum. They have the Terra Cotta Chinese warriors displayed for a couple more weeks and I'll finally have the time to go see them this week. I LOVE history, so I'm really excited to get a chance to see the warriors in person. And while I'm there, I might sneak accross the street to the butterfly exhibit at the Dow Gardens. Hopefully take a few pictures at both places.

It poored rain today. (ALL day!) The only advantage that I can see in that is that it helped melt most of the remaining snow. I am so so so ready for spring to come and the weather to turn enough that I can exercise outside. I'm tired of exercise videos. Those people on those tapes are too perky for their own good. But alas, they do the trick and keep my weight down and keep my healthy. So, tonight its yet another 3 (or so) miles via VHS.

Have a good rest of the day gang. I'll try to write more later this week.
